Este hotel de cuatro estrellas está ubicado en el corazón del barrio madrileño de Chamberí, muy cerca del Paseo de la Castellana. Esta zona era el lugar preferido por la nobleza española de fin de siglo para elegir su residencia y en concreto, sus palacetes. El palacio, hoy AC Santo Mauro, cumplió en 1994 su centenario y fue mandado construir por el Duque de Santo Mauro. Su notable influencia francesa debe su origen al arquitecto francés Louis Legrand, responsable de la obra. Del antiguo palacio se conservan intactos la biblioteca -habilitada como restaurante- y los salones de baile, actualmente salas de reuniones, que dan acceso al jardín.
